5 Yoga Pose for diabetic patients
>Ardha Matsyendrasana(Half Twist Pose)
> Benefits:
Good for increasing the flexibility and function of vertebrae of the spine.

> Steps for Half Twist Pose:
Sit in Vajrasana position or sit straight with stretching your legs in front of you.
Bend your left leg and try to touch your feet to your right buttock as shown in the above image.
Bring your right leg outside of the left knee. Touch your feet to the ground. Keep your spine erect.
Exhale and turn your upper body to the right. Hold your right feet with a left hand and place your right hand behind you are on the ground as shown in the above image.
Breathe normally and hold this posture for 20 to 30 seconds. After practice, you can hold this posture for 3 to 5 minutes.
Now release this posture and repeat this cycle with bending the right leg and bringing left leg outside of the right knee. (i.e. Twisting the opposite direction).
>> Bow Pose(Dhanurasana ):

> Steps:
To perform Vajrasana correctly, sit on the floor in a comfortable position with the legs stretched out, keeping the hands on the side of the body.
Bend your knees and sit on your buttocks. The sides of your soles should be close together. Interlock your big toes. Maintain your posture so that your spine and neck are entirely straight
Place your palms on your knees and relax your shoulders. Balance your body in this position while taking deep and even breaths. Do not lean back or allow your spine to arch backwards. Keep your eyes closed and remain conscious of your breathing.
Allow your mind and body to relax entirely by inhaling and exhaling slowly.
>> Kapalbhati pranayama-
> Steps for Kapalbhati Pranayama:
Sit on the flat floor and fold your legs. keep the spine straight and close the eyes.
Keep the right palm on right knee and left palm on left knee.
Now take a deep breath and exhale with all your force so your stomach will go deep inside.
When you exhale with hissing sound try to think that your disorders are coming out of your nose.
Do not stress on inhaling. Inhalation should not involve any effort. Inhaling will be done automatically after each exhaling.
Repeat these steps for 5 minutes and take rest. You can increase the time for 15 – 30 minutes.
Should not practice very fast. The speed of practice should be medium.

Bend your right knee to the side and bring your right foot high up to your left thigh
Place the sole of your right foot flat and firm on your inner left thigh. Maintain your left leg straight with the foot firmly planted on the mat
Breathe easy and find your balance
While inhaling deeply, gracefully raise both your arms over your head and join your palms in the ‘namaskara’ mudra
Keep a firm distant gaze
Aim for a straight spine while taking extended deep breaths.
Increase your relaxation with every exhalation to help you hold the pose for as long as possible
Inhale and exhale deeply as you bring your hands down to the side of your body and gently release the right leg
Repeat the above steps with the other leg
